Renewables, Storage & Project Readiness

Technical and economic screening that gets a renewable or storage project to a bankable, permit-ready state.

The problem

A project must reach bankability and survive connection, permitting and structural reality — not just clear a spreadsheet.

Most projects that fail did not fail on the numbers. They cleared a spreadsheet and then met the grid, the permit or the roof.

A connection point turns out to be constrained. A structure will not carry the array without works nobody costed. A permitting pathway assumed to be routine depends on a decision nobody has scheduled. Each is discovered late, when the cost of discovering it is highest and the options are fewest.

How we work

Screening is worth doing only if it is capable of stopping a project. We test the things that actually kill projects first — connection, structure, permitting — before refining an economic case those things could invalidate.

That means the engineering and the economics are done by people who talk to each other. A feasibility case built without structural input, or a structural review done without knowing the investment logic, produces two documents that are individually correct and jointly useless.

  • PV and PV+storage technical feasibility
  • Grid-connection and constraint risk screening
  • Structural and electrical feasibility review
  • Project economics and investment screening

How this discipline thinks

Key questions answered

  1. 01Will this project actually connect, and at what cost?
  2. 02Does the roof or site support the proposed system?
  3. 03What is the realistic permitting and implementation pathway?

Typical deliverables

A technical feasibility report, a grid-connection risk screen that states what is uncertain as well as what is known, and an investment-screening summary a decision can rest on.

  • Technical feasibility report
  • Grid-connection risk screen
  • Investment-screening summary
